Learn More

You can learn more about our seminar leaders in these short video discussions with our director, Stephen Latham.

Seminars are “mini-courses” - each seminar meets 6 times over 3 weeks. Participants may enroll in 2-4 seminars in June and another 2-4 seminars in July. Once you have completed the form to register your seminar preferences, you may drop one seminar per session, but students cannot switch seminars nor may they add seminars. Therefore, please think carefully about your choices. We encourage you to meet with academic advisers in your home institution to carefully consider your preferences. Remember, descriptions for all the seminars below can be found on the seminar page: https://bioethics.yale.edu/2019-seminars. You must select a second choice for each time slot unless you do not wish to take a course during that time slot. You may not choose the same course as a first and second choice; if you do so, your preferences will be discarded and you will receive an email asking you to resubmit your choices.
